Dear Fellows,

Any idea whats the weight of short block of sr20det ? and if we remove pistons rods and crank wat will be the weight of assembly only ?

If your tearing it apart, weigh it...

Long blocks are around 320lbs.

Bare block is less than 70 lbs. Only reason I know its less than that is due to a bunch of folks who shipped their engines thru the post office and max weight they'd let you ship is 70 lbs.

thanks any confirm source ? as i also want to get sleaved block shiped to my country. as i dont have any facility to install sleaves in my sr20det in my country..

Contact Mazworx since they ship sleeved/modded blocks overseas. They should be able to tell you how heavy they are, how they ship them and maybe even order it from them...Win-Win-Win!!!
