my s14 2jzgte build

Here are some pictures of the lenght of the shifter. I am posting them cause I look everywhere and could'nt find them anywhere and I might help somebody and I know for a fact that tech 2 won't share that info



extension of 3.250" according to a person who bought the shifter from tech 2



1jz bellhousing

r154 tranny reinforced with first gear trusth washer and bearing carrier both parts from marlin crawler also extended shifter everything made by me




yonaka racing intercooler

misc parts




tranny closed and ready with shifter extension

here the custom made clutch




here is mines done by me also


here is mines closed with marling crawling forged first gear thrust washer and bearring carrier installed also everything done by me

if you want to buy the 1jz bellhousing buy it from champion toyota in texas they sell it for $300 plus shipping is way cheaper than driftmotion and tech 2 . here is the phone # 1-713-943-7010 ask for Jeff , he will hook you up

here is what I did today
tb welded and polished in the inside




custom made power steering hose


coolant fan switch to make fans runs with car temperature not all the time



tonight after the kids goes to sleep I will try to finish the harness
and tomorrow rear battery box installed and finish the mounts they are 1/8" off and I don't like it I am picky after that make a jig to probably mass production..Omar

today I redid the mounts cause I did'nt like the other ones (I am waiting for the supra ones to do the motor mounts again )

flex pipe installed and bung for the wideband( it can't be seen in this angle)


exhaust the way I want it as closed to the chassis as possible with out touching it

I re did the cross memberr mounts this time I used the supra mounts instead of the 240

today I had some time to finish the intercooler piping amd started working on the fuel supply







here is the first time I let it go to the floor since I put the 2j on it it sits so low that I think I got to put stock spring for now while I gather some more money for the coilovers

also I am installing a supra (denso) fuel pump but when I pulled out the one on the car Is as big as the denso , does anybody got a picture of the stock s14 fuel pump? cause the one on the car the only marking I saw it said jecs made in japan .I want to see is that is the stock one or an aftermarket

today I finished the coolant system


fuel pump denso supra fuel pump

fuel lines transfer from passenger side to driver side (this is temporal cause I am planning to upgrade the fuel system,turbo and intake on couple of months)

today I had sometime to work on the car
modified 2j acelerator cable to work with s14 cable and cruise control







cruise control server installed in the opossite side of engine bay



fuel line system done (it will be temporary till I convert to single turbo and update fuel lines


fuel filter relocated






I did'nt take pictures of it but I by passed the heater core till I conver to single no room for the hoses

tomorrow I gonna work on the fuel pump relay and hopefully order the drive shaft

yesterday I wnt I pick up some prosport gauges and today I made the console for the gauges







hopefully this weekend if I have time I will be starting the car and by mid next week the driveshaft will be done (waiting on the tranny yoke coming from california)

as of today 11-23 . I installed energy suspension bushings and replaced front and rear lower control arm ball joints .Now I am shopping for rear adjustable arms (rucas,toe,traction arms) I have'nt decide on the brand (spl or powered by max) and after that buying fortune auto drag coilovers...........................

how do you plan on keeping the cruise control? can't say i've seen that done on many JZ swpped cars.

Thanks man ,no dyno time yet . I am waiting for next year . when I will be upgrading to a single turbo bw s370 . But I think I am around 400whp at 18 psi cause I was cruising with my friend (built sr 450whp) and he decide to give it a try and I pulled on him bad
