KA24E Emissions Removal and Intake Manifold Reassembly
Alright so, I've removed all of the emissions equipment off of my single cam and like a dumbass, I didn't take pictures of how to route all the lines and shit back together.. All that is left is the FPR, IAA unit, and air regulator. I don't know what vacuum and coolant nipples to block off and how to route the new vacuum and coolant lines.
halp pls Pictures: Correct me if I'm wrong with any of the following: #1 - I don't know. Looks like it's for vacuum. #2 - PCV valve. I believe it connects to #16. #3 - I don't know. Looks like it's for coolant. #4 - I believe this is for the brake booster. #5 - Not sure. I believe its the vacuum source for the FPR. #6 - I don't know. Looks like it's for coolant. #7 - Inlet for the air regulator. I'm guessing it's for coolant but I don't know the source. #8 - I don't know. Looks like it's for vacuum. #9 - Coolant nipple for the throttle body. Not sure what to do with this. #10 - Same as #9. #11 - Inlet for the IAA unit. I'm guessing it's for coolant but I don't know the source. #12 - Upper radiator hose. #13 - I don't know. #14 - I don't know. #15 - I don't know. #16 - I believe this connect to the PCV valve, #2. #17 - I don't know. #18 - Lower radiator hose. #19 - Heater hose. Not sure what to connect it to. #20 - This was left over from when I removed the AIV unit. Not sure what to do with it. And then there are bunch of random lines I pulled off. Not sure if I still need them or not. Also, I'm not sure what to do with the bundle of vacuum hard lines behind the valve cover. I don't think they are receiving any vacuum so I guess it's ok to just leave them there. Any help is greatly appreciated even if it's just identifying what to do with one of the numbers! Thanks!
