77' SR20DET 280z
well here is my long term build that ive been working on and off for like 7 years. I am in the middle of paying for a wedding so working on it is a little challenging but shoot to finish it soon before next summer.
Here's how I got it, my mom and brother bought it for me for $100 when times were really really tough for our family but they knew it was my dream car and sacrificed to get it for me. I ended up swapping in another L-series because the one in this one was toast and with the replacement it was still junk so I elected to go with and SR20DET that I actually got with selling my swapped civic. All was going well and then I lost motivation and stopped working on it for a year or so and hit it hard again. original turbo kit I was going with was a hy35 with ebay wastegate and supporting mods due to what I could afford at the time. then upgraded and now new turbo kit is a Spooling performance twinscroll custom made manifold with twin water cooled tial wastegates, custom Blacktrax intercooler, 850cc topfeed injectors and an AGP GT35r turbo. I am missing out a lot but here are some pictures of it from the start to where it is now it now. when I first got it mocking up the SR and shaving the engine bay holset turbo kit coil-overs installed and moving got her brakes and to my new house ended up getting a good price on my 17x10.5 -32 and 17x11.5 -44 Work wheels so picked these up and got them installed got the flares mounted and fenders cut and under coating while I was at it heres the new turbo kit, seats and head light with steering wheel |
