Hi,

I have a question: out of these exhausts which one do you guys recommend?

The main thing I want is for the exhaust to be more quiet than the Tanabe Super Medallion Racing exhaust (what I have now but its super bent and dented) but still provide reasonable gains. The car has an SR20DET and test pipe.

1. HKS Hi-Power
2. Apex'i N1 85mm
3. GReddy Ti-C

Also, out of these three which one is the quietest?

hell no if u want quiet get the C.S. from phase2///Ciruit Sport sleeker than the ex mag..and much sexyer...lolol..on the real one of the sweetest exhaust ive ever owend,and by far the quietest...u will love it....

That exhaust looks really nice, but do you have any pics of it on your car? It looks like it might burn the bumper?

lol on a na ka that thing will bust some eardrums. N1 style mufflers unless you have a turbo are all generally loud.

Get the cheapest one of the 3 and slap an Apex'i Exhaust Valve Controller...thats the quietest shiet you can do.

I don't know how many other people on here run it, but I have an Invidia N1 catback, and I really like it. On a NA KA it's pretty loud, but I have an SR, and it's not to loud at all in the lower RPM's, but when you start to hit 3k-3.5k, it gets louder with a really nice sound. Also the silencer pretty much kills it... not much louder then a stock exhaust with it in.

yeah Cali you ned quiet. I never suffered with my HKS Carbon Ti (same as high power but a CF canister) HKS is pretty quiet. and RSR only gets quieter. so any of those will be ok.

Best exhausts? short list( these are loud but dope)
Buddy Club Spec II cost $300-400 depending on vendor
Greddy DD unavailable at this time
Best exhausts quit?

Custom- using mandrel bent large piping with a dual tip muffler(several brands you pick. I use a Magnaflow 3 in dual 2.5 out) cost $250-350 ( very dope in my opinion i.e. read stealth. Works well with my setup, has a nice tone, not super loud.)

RSR Ex Mag cost $350-500
Circuit Sport cost $400-500?

To the OP
don't bother with Apexi exhausts quality is not high
HKS is good but expensive
Greddy TI is costly as well .
Look at what other people posted as well as my list in short its the best selection based on either sound or quiet.

go to magnaflow.com, pick out the muffler and resonator you want. buy them on ebay. take them to a shop, get exhaust made. tada, you have a quiet exhaust and you didn't throw away a billion dollars on pipe.

+1 for Exmag on the SR. Really quiet. Want it even quieter? Run an Apexi ECV. I ran it on my Ex-mag and made a huge difference in sound.

WTF? Im in Cali with a ricer exhaust and I dont get hassled. Stock KA with a URAS RS. 3" strait through, not as loud as Id expect and it sounds nice.
