Price is resonable. But do you any documents on any of the work?
Dyno tune specs, engine rebuild, trans work etc. Anything any buyer would wanna see.

But from the pics, your swaps pretty clean. Just minor bodywork/paint then she's set!

i have 9000. body is.....ughhh well look at the over fenders and the tail lights and thats not all + needs paint, interior clean, swap is clean but not expensive...you dont have the V160 which makes supra swaps pricey....shit a 2jz long block is 1600 with auto tranny a r154 cost around 200-400, and swap itself is not hard nor expensive like stated. rims are nice though.

i see this sold at your asking price if shell was clean and had paint and actually had a V160 getrag as that 6spd is 3k-4k by itself.

Bump for a fellow TX owner, 2J's do cost quite hefty to put them in right. If only you had this last year, I would consider getting this from you.

Instead, I got a S14 and decided to ask a friend to build it for me, went the RB26 route with a large single, and what you are asking is more then reasonable, everything for my car is already totaled over $26700 and I am not even finished with her yet; PLEASE DO NOT SELL HER FOR LESS THAN 17K!!!

I love your logic, it's soo terribly flawed; I've seen RB26dett longblocks go for less than 2JZGTE longblocks and both have the option to go with a cheaper 5speed manual (2JZGE 5spd for 2JZGTE, RB25det 5spd for RB26dett). So you're left with the cost of swapping it into the car, which all other things being equal, the basic fact that swapping a NISSAN motor into a NISSAN is going to be cheaper than a TOYOTA motor into a NISSAN is going to sway the 2JZ-GTE swap into being more expensive.

OP its understandable for your asking price.

AWDJosh its understandable you think it is overpriced. He probably paid to have the car built, so he naturally will add in those wrench costs. I dont think you should be bashed for your offer.

Lets be honest though, when modding cars, you get about 50% - 60% of what you put into PARTS. Wrench time means nothing in price.

The fact of the matter is, most (not all) 240 owners do their own work, so both sides of this argument are simply an opinion.

This is tight I'm buildin my 2j s13 as we speak and I already have like 6500 into the motor and internals. That's not the ecu,turbo,manifold,guages,cam gears,oil and water pump... so add up abouttt another 4 or 5k and that's like 11 or 12k ill have in my motor. So for all u people that don't understand how much rb26 and 2jz shit cost please don't speak cuz ur makin urself look like an idiot. Nooo offense to our diehard 240 guys but sr's,ka's and smaller rb's aren't even close to the price level it costs to build bigg jap motors. Opinions are like assholes everybodys got one lol. Glws on this these build are hard to sell period and that's all there is to it but fuck are they quick haha.now everyone can have fun again

Ohh and one more thing I'm not mentioning any names but if you knew anything u would know there absolutly is no reason to put a 4 thousand dollar tranny and a 200 mph one at that into a s body car its a waste of money and insane. stock 154's hold 700 horse fine and will do around a 160.

If I were to price my car, I would say $18-22K if I had to sell it, mainly I won't because I don't think I will have to in the future because of a stable income from my career job.

Yes, I did spend $26,700 give or take, I don't have time to build cars, I just have time to drive and enjoy them. However much my friend charges me for labor is alright; he is an honest guy who is very knowledgeable about 240's, therefore:
