Saab Kyle's S13 Adventure Begins
Just sharing this for people who follow his reviews:
He's such a nerd. But hey, it will be interesting to see what he posts up. I make a toast: here is to taking a perfectly good working car and taking it apart. May it sit on jack stands like the many other 240's being built |

Pretty sure he barely lifted a finger in that build too.

I dont see how David's 240 is fucked. He had shop build a great looking 240. That does not follow your typical fan boy drift car. Anyways like the other guy said I laughed when he said 17x7 wheels.

I'm always a little skeptical of "I bought this 240 to learn how to work on cars."
Seems like a lot of the Doing it Wrong thread candidates did the same thing. |

Guy keeps talking about how he loves the "originality" of cars; how they were designed from the factory. If that's the case, he could go about restoring this one. A decent paint job would be a good start, it's quite weathered as it is.

The thing I like about this guy are his car reviews. He has reviewed some of the nicest cars on the planet. He tends to read too much, as if you are listening to a Wikipedia article - but still, its nice to see how in-depth he gets with the cars he is reviewing. Cant complain that its in HD.
One thing I can say is that he's definitely young and impressionable, because everyone who jumps into owning (and modifying) an S-chassis seems to think that building a car is like a video game. That the parts just pop right into place. Guys have NO fucking idea just how much time and money it takes to make these things come together. From the tools, the labor, the time, and the money - PLUS the constant wait to acquire parts. Unless you're buying aftermarket junk thats stocked on the shelf, finding quality parts is a real challenge nowadays. |

Oh man, I was really confused there for a minute. I was like "WTF is mike doing posting a thread about someone else's 240sx?" I thought Mike may have had a moment of weakness and developed a soft spot for some poor lonely 240 kid or something. Now it all makes perfect sense!
