modesto area...so far ive seen 1 240... but it was a ratty lookin one with the sleepy eyes.. straight up jallopy.......dont know if hes on the forum.. doubt it tho

hey was it white/black hood or red? (the white one and mine are the only ones that i know of that did the sleepy eye trick in modesto
umm im in the modesto area, i drive a red 240, tear drop rims, that i just painted black cuz i was bored(god damn old owner curbed the edges looked horrible so i cleaned it and just painted them black) the white one, yes it is my friends, he just bought it a little while back, and it has a blown muffler...so yes...it does sound ratty. he did the sleepy eye trick because we were bored. where in modesto did you move? north side(mall)... east side... southside( ceres walmart)...or west side(mjc west campus/homedepot/lowes) theres also a white s14.5 rolling around modesto with a revolutions sticker on the side....dont talk to that guy he s a shit talker, prolly say that the s13 front is like an ugly girl compared to his 'beautiful' s15 front, but yea...dont worry his car is automatic and he doesnt know how to drive it, he juts bought it and crashed it twice already. sorry for the rambling, the name is Steve, im from modesto, hope to see you around, are you interested in going up to sacramento for a little meet/drifting next weekend? let us know, im on here a little bit, more on www.forums.nicoclub.com but i check back here often. thats pretty much it. well steve nice to meet u man... cant be headin to any meets lately , cause of moving status and have too much things going on.... but when my schedule clears definetly i will be intrested.. worried tho about the area.. lots of thievery is just to well known... i guess when ive come to understand the area more... ill know where not to go...i drive a white s14... as for drifting i dont plan on hittin up some illegal corner pitching in the future... been chased by the police to many times and i just got done paying my last ticket i hope ... but definetly will be heading to altamont any chance i can... hope to see u there... the one i saw was a red one...a s13 hb... ill be living in the south side... seems like there isnt much to do there so i guess im just gonna work on my car to the fullest and prep my engine... if theres like a little get together with bbq and beer then definetly ill be intrested in meeting new ppl

So you live in teh south side eh? I used to live there, and still go there quite frequently (nadine st.) Its not as bad as some parts,(west side is kinda worse but my girl lives there so hey gotta drive through there!) . I hope my car wasnt the ratty one you saw, its stock! (basically) all it has is tein drop springs, and the sleepy eye trick(but my lights turn on when its sleepy too! muahahhahah itll look much better once i get the version select kit on) BBQ? definitely!the summer is just around the corner, and the lake is just down the street so to speak, and we love barbeque!

i just got my VS kit, doing some mods to get it flushed as possible......... u know any cool cheap places for getting cars painted, say if i dont want it to get painted in my hometown for free? ratty or not still gotta pay to play the game.... cool thing about the bay area cats is that everyone helps each other so.. maybe i can help u get to where u want to be...with my skills or what ever..

if i knew a shop that was cheap, i would let ya know. if you got a hookup thats free then go for it. nowhere around here hooks anybody up for cheap unless ya know em. and i dont. lol, not yet at least.

cool.... well so far thats 3 ppl ive met on zilvia.net that are local in the area... will have to improvise somethings... ill hit you up with a pm... 90 degree weather is around the corner... and its time to have some fun... i guess local paintjob is the way to go... gotta do some body work and prep and paint..

see i use to paint cars... i still can.. but i dont have a booth and dont want to be getting into all the legal BS with the city and all.. i have a friend locally that owes me a favor.. so i guess i would be going to him... just have to get all my parts ready and buy some materials like primer and a little bondo.. havent met josh yet... but i will, i guess... seriously tho im not gonna shell out 3k for a paint job that i know only cost 800 at most...and since i will be doing the prep work and supplying the paint material myself .. and probably will do the masking myself.. if i get quoted for more then 1500... i will most likely get in my car and flip the guy the bird...im very precise when it comes to what i want and quality.. if im not happy with what i get i will most likely say some honest brutal criticism that the modesto guy wouldnt want to hear.. im not tripping about paint right now i just want to get my parts primered and work on the dents... thats really all........i had my shit all planned out but since im in the means of moving it kinda throws my plan off balance....... which really sucks...i think ill start popping out my dents tomorrow and put all my stock stuff back on since im done with getting all the gaps accurate...wish me luck..

good luck, the body work is the last thing on my mind right now, since the body is not too bad itself. most just little dings paints a faded on the bumpers, but over its still alright. i just got my vlsd today, and will be installing it tmw after i watch star wars lol

man you'll hate it, unlike the bay area where everything's tight knit, in the valley it's like half hour to modesto/stockton/tracy, anything in between is NOTHING. and even tho bay area has the traffic, you'll miss it! well maybe not, haha.

yea haha me too, i have no insurance on my 240
i hear ceres has a gang/drug problem  so watch who you be friends with just throw a 240 bbq meet, i know of a couple members on here from modesto I'll come through too no drifting anytime soon, i got some driveshaft problems so I'm gonna get an aluminum one made woot.

I wouldn't worry too much about Ceres, most of the bad stuff you hear is media BS... it does smell funny there though. If you want to organize something I'm sure me and my buddy Adam would come out with our ricer 240s... There's also a "drift team" around here, http://www.driftinertia.com/, but I think they may be a bunch of honest-to-goodness McHenry-cruising ricers. That's where they hang out anyway... Not trying to hate, but 240s have blown up in Modesto lately and those of us who've been into this for a while are a bit cynical about it. You'll start to notice a lot of the import people around here are ricers and e-thugs, so we need more cool people! Shoot me a PM sometime. Tanner

ceres....meh...some parts are getting kind of worse...but yea most of it is just hype. i have never seen those guys around town, but if they hang out on mchenry you cant say much about it, cept....RICER! NOTHIGN but ricers hang out there....the only time i go there is for wendys, dennys, sometimes some pho, and like copelands and stuff. other than that...i stay off it...WAY too many kids try to race on a 35MPH! street....that and way too many cops patrol there..i see no less than like 5 at any given time on that road...not good. not good at all.

nope not much of a cruiser.... not much of a street racer.. more like a diy type of guy who likes to drink, late nite coffee breaks and bullshit with some laughs and all... im trying not to drink as much as i do in santa rosa. im not worried really about ceres.. just dont want no ghetto jackass fukn with my stuff like that guy down in my sig... POS.... but really we should setup a meet and start a community in the 209. u natives should post a good place with out getting hassled from passer by's and rollers... =)

i used to go to modesto with some homies to chill at a pool hall haha, we can't play but we just go for chillen and booze. it was this pool hall on mchenry, i forget the name, but i'm too busy to go all the way to modesto just to chill, and i can't drink cuz i gotta drive myself.
i guess we can just to a bbq somewhere someday, i'm down for that.

FUCK rolling around mchenry. no way man, you DONT want to be there, WAY too many ricers, and way too many cops...but im still down to roll sometime, if you guys wanna take a risk driving around there, the starbucks is right by barnes and nobles, same shop even, but i dont know how late it is open.

OK, i was driving around modesto job huntin.. and saw this KK donut shop off of 99, so that would be a good place to meet and greet and get to know the people in the area... i think its on briggsmore... but i could be wrong... so lets say Sat... 8pm? Caoboy, Salty X, Anthony... r u guys with this???? ill buy a fukn dozen of donuts for the hungry guys..!
