FD rulebook question

I'm getting ready to start doing my first roll cage on my s13 and going over FD rulebook more specifically seat mounting. Rulebook is kind of vague it states that seats have to be installed per manufacturer's instructions. Also mentions hardware. It also states that no floor pan can be cut except s chassis due to hump for the cat that can be removed in order to install seat brackets. I have previously removed this hump partially back in 2012 I was 22 had no business no skill doing this back then. I want to get this fixed and done right. So my question is do I remove the entire hump and what do you guys use for brackets? I'm guessing custom made. I have 12 gauge same stuff I'll be using for base plates.

Any input is appreciated.

I would consider reaching out to Nick at Wild Child Innovations. Dudes a former pro2 driver and Taylor Hulls crew chief and he could definitely do the work to make it fd legal
