The screws holding the interior blocking the tail lights won't come out. I try unscrewing them and they just spin. I tried gently prying one out and still wouldnt come off. Any one experienced this and have any clues? I tried searching so if there is a link that would help that would be great thanks.

put no pressure on them while unscrewing and they will come out. If they are the kind im thinking of.

thanks I will try that. They have something surrounding them on the back side that seems to be part of the screw and no threads

Screw with zero pressure as states. Also you can put a small flathead screwdriver under the backing and apply slight pressure by prying while unscrewing. It's a finesse thing.
