We had alot of questions regarding the coilovers, so we decided to put new wheels on to test them again to find out for ourselves.
First of all, I must say going from $30 Goodyear 15" tires to 17" Falken Azenis tires is night and day! Now for the new review. As you can see from the pictures its low. And you can go much lower than that. I had the front shocks at setting 20(middle), rears at 10 (10 less from most stiff). The ride on the street improved so much with new wheels and tires. Ride on the street and bumpy backroad is pretty stiff with 10k/8k springs but the shocks are valved really good that its not too fatiguing. Ride is not bouncy at all. On the highway, it felt really good. Again its stiff so the car doesn't really move so you feel everything. But the ride wasn't bouncy so it wasn't too fatiguing. Going 70mph on offramps felt so good, car felt very neutral and solid. I don't think there was much body roll, if at all. 40-way dampening is too much, as I changed the setting couple of times and lost track and had to start from stiff. So I just click 10times everytime to change to make it a 4-way. You can definitely feel the difference with each setting. Even at full stiff, car was definitely streetable. Couple of things I did notice was that, while going up some steep curves at an angle, one of the rear wheel will get airborn because the coilover is so short. So LSD is recommended. Once again you must like your car low. Overall this coilover kicks big butt. I definitely recommend these to that want their car to be low and stiff. This is definitely best valved system at this price range. For daily drivers I recommend 8k/6k springs as it is more forgiving at the limit and little bit more streetable. For more info, please feel free to call us to ask any questions. |

also, can you give an approximation of how much drop it is on the highest setting? you keep repeating that its super low, but i dont want my car that low...also, i dont want that to be the reason to pass up such a setup at this price... i know all these questions from us are annoying and redundant, but you have to understand that no one knows much about these...i have asked literally all my friends/driving aquantances and no one knows anything...so in a way, it is a gamble...but i am known to be the gambler, so im going all in very soon...

it will lift the rear wheels in driveway situations and such. the pics are of the car at full height (highest setting).
i talked to dave about these and they seem to be quality. i'm going for them. |

I was over at TF checking these out when they were running on the stock 15s, you can get one finger in the front wheel well and about 1/2 a finger in the back on the highest setting, or reverse that, I can't remember. Needless to say it's low.

eta is "sometime soon" they're still in japan being assembled as i heard it. a lot of custom rates were ordered i guess.
should have made initial batch only available in 10/8 and 8/6, but that's my opinion. |

I feel late and left out, are all of the orders already taken? Or can I still buy in. Even if not, would there be any fitmet probs with the RotaD2s afformentioned in the GBs? 17x8.5 +20 all the way around? By the way, my hat's off to the TougeFactory guys!
