S14 Suspension sounds? and an annoying battery light
So I just installed new Stance GR+ Pros on my S14 and everythings pretty much good. I found out today Im gonna need new subframe bushings, but I noticed I am getting an odd sound from my right rear wheel....
Everytime I take a left turn at a fairly low speed, it sounds like my tire is scraping against the wheel well. But when I go to inspect it later on, its obvious that it didnt touch. Could it possibly be the subframe bushings makeing the noise somehow? This is the reason why I got new coilovers becuase I thought my right rear tanabe was blown and shipping them to get them rebuilt would cost too much... But now I have new coilovers and the same rear right wheel is making noise! Also when I make a left pulling slow, I get a little clunkity clunk clunk noise... Any ideas? Ok, problem two... not as bad, but here we go... So im driving home from work, my cars running strong, starting strong etc... and I noticed my battery light fading on and off. So I immediatley thing alternator... to test it, I come to a stop and turn my radio up, defrost, high beams, but everything stays steady.... I start driving some more and it goes off... Then a few miles later it starts getting bright and then fading dim... maybe a voltage reg? im out of ideas... battery and alternator are fine though |
