Quick release hub info.

Just picked up a Nardi Deep corn 330. Looking for a hub and quick disconnect combo that will keep the wheel close to factory distance to driver. Any suggestions? Sorry in advance if I posted this in the wrong place or its been covered a million times.

Don't buy a deep corn if you're looking to retain the stock distance. Even with short hubs you're going to be way closer due to the steering wheel. A flat wheel with a short hub is about it, you won't be able to have a QR on it.

^^^ He already bought the deep corn as he stated that in the first 5 words of his post.

OP, the whole point of deep corn is to pull the steering wheel closer to the driver. Think about it, the more concave the steering wheel hub mounting point is, the closer the wheel sits to you.

I guess I should have looked into the factory wheel depth first. just by eyeballing it, I assumed the stock wheel had about the same depth with the airbag, as the 330 deep corn. But I knew going into this that there would be SOME difference in distance. I just want a hub and QD setup that's not going to have the wheel in my chest with the seat all the way back. this is in an S14 with factory seats BTW.

I've had a circuit sport short hub for the past 4 years, love it. It's made of solid billet so it's sturdy as hell. Also comes with the dowels so you can get your steering clocker to still work.
I run it with a quick release so I can imagine it would work well in your case with a deep wheel

here's a link to FRsport who coincidentally is having a sale on them right now.

Also I'd like to add that this isn't the "full" deep corn, the 330 has a slightly more shallow depth than the 350 deep corn.

i'm running a nrg 2.5....distance is good but i'm 5"5' soooooo

bottom line is, if you don't want your wheel close (or closer to stock distance) you can't run a generic momo/boss style hub AND deep wheel. Especially if you intend on getting a quick release down the road. You'll need some sort of short hub. the CS one (above) is nice and great quality. An NRG short hub would be another option.
