Fuel pump question

I am having trouble getting fuel up to my motor, so I figured it was a bad Fuel pump, because the filter is brand new. So I'm wondering if a 255lt/hr pump is going to drown my stock injectors?

basically wondering if I'm gonna need new injectors/fuel regulator.

so are you getting fuel to the injectors? I don't get it..
disconnect a line and turn the key to the on position to see if you're getting fuel if you are then, hook the line back up and disconnect the rail try cranking it to see if fuel is coming out of the injectors. if no fuel is coming out of any then it might be your distributor the CAS that's attached to it sends signal to the injectors in order for them to fire. Can be a number of other things but usually either of those!!

sorry mis-read your question..
I do not have any personal experience with those fuel pumps, but from what I've read apparently you are running the 255 the fuel pressure will be higher if you're running the stock FPR and the car will run a little more rich than normal

ive read from walbro that the higher lph doesnt negatively effect your vehicle. thats would be the purpose of the FPR, to regulate how much fuel is passing through or not.

I'm not getting fuel up to the motor at all. I bench tested my fuel pump, it ran outside of the car, once I put it in the car, nothing. I don't hear it hum in the "on" position. But my Relay and Fuses are good too. So I think the pump may be bad, my dad won't stop hassling me about the pump, although I'd say it has something to do with wiring. But I'm was tired of hearing him complain. So I ordered an ISIS 255lt/hr pump. I don't don't want to have to throw more money at this thing just to get it to start.

But it looks like I might need bigger injectors as well. or at least a Fuel Regulator.

Ok, you at least know the pump works, relay and fuses are good!
The ecu may not be sending the trigger.
I want to make sure the cars wiring is good! for an s13!
pull the egi pump relay. look into the sock. top row 1-2, bottom row 3-4 make a jumper wire and jump pins 3 and 2 or 4 and 2 turn KOEO listen for the pump. if this works replace the ecu or have it repaired. You should be able to start the car and drive like this, but the pump will run until key is turned to off!

Sounds like that's suck a ton of gas. If I ran it like that. I'm gonna try and look at it tonight. I'm going to double check all my plugs and make sure everything it good again. ha

Nope, we have a return style system, if you are tuned correctly you won't notice anything.
unless you have a leak, your pump could run forever and you not loose any gas, engine not running of course!

I have a Walbro 255 in my S14 and it runs fine. I had an issue with the plug going into the fuel tank. It overheated (before I bought the car) and would inconsistently run the pump. Check that you have power at the top plug, through the cap in the top of the plug, etc. Think of the easy stuff before going nuts and ordering new parts and going crazy.
