Are you talking about the orange and black wires that run to the bottom of the lighter assembly?

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but I'm pretty sure the '89 FSM does have pinouts of all the connectors on the car, albeit the wire colors aren't always 100%.

I have an odd question, I bought a 93 S13 (coupe) front clip and I am using the wire harness that came with the clip. My issue is that the harness is cut where they made the cut for the front clip as seen in the picture attached. Would it be safe to assume that the wires on my 93 240s coupe are an even one for one swap?

Ive just about finished an rb20det - s13 conversion with a bare and basic s13 body harness and and rb engine loom.
This doco helped me find those pesky two wire i need to link to the speedo sender to get it running. - Ive spent a year looking online for info haha. Now just to get my tacho working and my dash clock to show some numbers on it.. any ideas ? lol |

Dash clock will come on with power and ground to the cluster. Tach wire is a single wire straight from the tach to the engine speed output on the ECU, and use the potentiometer to match what you see on the needle to what you see with a timing light.

Sweet thanks. My clock lights up, but just doesn't show any numbers, will there be a seperate wire for this, or is the clock real basic and not connected to the ecu to keep the time? I do keep the battery disconnected as the car s not road legal yet I connect it when I'm ready to try fire it up or test radio wiring etc

On the EFI harness, where would I find a new F-28 and F-29 Resistor/Condenser. Both of mine are fried. Can I go to the Nissan dealer and have them bring up this harness then get a part number?

hey ive got a quick question on the body harness. There is one thick black ground wire going through the entire harness. I have the connection to ground it on the passengers side dashboard frame, but i follow it back towards the fuse block and smj, and its cut about a foot away from the fuse block. I cant figure out if i cut it or if it was just like that(cant imagine it being that way) does it just ground to the frame on both ends of the thick black wire?

is it hard to build your own wire harness?, i if pulled all of the relays and fuses one by one and slowly rebuild it to length would that change the values of the fuses or relays?

holy crap. I haven't been on zilvia for some time now, I'm really glad this has been viewed so many times and helped people along the way. I really need to get that pin-out scanned up for everyone. I'll see where that damn book went to.

Yo, Photobucket fucked this extremely valuable resource. Can we get these images re-hosted or can someone supply the images to make a replacement thread please?
