S13 tie rod question

Yes, I have searched quite and bit and not found a definite answer to my question. Yes, I read the Suspension FAQ and Bumpsteer threads, too.

I did the 5-lug/Z32 brake swap on my S13. I'm using S14 knuckles all the way around. I put new Moog S14 ball joints into my S13 front lower control arms. I put on some OEM S14 inner tie rods with S14 Godspeed outer tie rods. I was eyeballing my front toe trying to get it close so I could set the car on the ground and drop the LS1 in, but my tie rods are too long. I'm actually running out of threads on the inner tie rod before I get any toe-out.

So my question is what tie rods should I get? If I get some extended FLCAs could that fix my issue? Or will it just cause other issues like hella negative camber?

I was checking out the circuit sports inner and outer tie rod combo they sell for like $130 which isn't too bad and it appears to have a crap-ton of threads for a wide range of adjustment. Plus they look a lot beefier than the S14 ones I have right now.

I'm sorry, I have no info for your question, but I am also doing an ls1 swap. About to be finished here soon. Do you have any pictures?

Don't really have any pics that would pertain to the swap itself unless you wanna see the motor with the sikky oil pan and new rear main? I've been working on suspension and brakes before I drop it in there. S14 subframe w/ solid bushings, z32 brakes/5-lug, J30 diff w/ solid bushings, all the adjustable rear arms, etc. I'm finally to the point where I'm ready to set the car down and push it outside so I can put the motor in. Mainly because the ceiling in my garage is not tall enough.

But anyways, back to the subject, I need the correct tie rods. I read something about the Z32 inner tie rods being shorter and I would still be able to use my S14 Godspeed outer tie rods?

So from what little information I have been able to gather on this, I probably need the Tein Z33 inner tie rods since they are a bit shorter. But is the thread pitch the same? Will the Tein Z33 inner tie rods screw into the S14 Godspeed outer tie rods?

Somebody just point me in the right direction to find out what tie rods will fit. I understand that I can use S13 tie rods, but mine are fubar. What is a nice beefy upgrade I can use without upgrading front lower control arms? Or do I just need to get control arms and be done with it?

Threads the same, I'm running Z33 inners with an S14 SPL outters. Tested them on the stock S14 rods too and they threaded in. Z33 are definitely shorter by about an inch from what I remember.

Ok so I guess my last question would be are the Tein z33 tie rod threads any different from the OE z33 and s14 threads? If not I'll get Teins, if they are I'll hit up rockauto.

Theirs a thread here on the forum that has the length of a bunch of different tie rods that will work on the s13/14 rack. I don't think you should be running out of thread on s14 inner with s13 lower control arms. I'm on aftermarket FLCAs adjusted ~12mm longer with s14 inner and outers. Had zero issues aligning the car to have -0.5 to -0.8 toe.

Take a picture of your setup, maybe the parts store sold you the wrong stuff
