Can anyone tell me what exactly is needed for installing german glass headlights in a 95 240sx ive heard that they need different bulbs, and is there any wiring involved? any advice helps.

Did you search, I looked into this a while back and I found almost 90% of the info needed on here. IIRC the plugs nned to be changed, but it's somewhere here.

The headlights bolt right in. No modification necessary for low beams. High beams use a different plug. I never looked into it and never hooked up my high beams.

Cool thanks, I also have a headlight adjustment switch that goes Into the center console would you know anything about those like if the lights have motors in them or if they are separate or if the s14 even had adjustment switches in Germany? And what is required for the high beams do you buy or make the plugs?

So I've found out most of what I've been looking for but I still haven't been able to find out how the adjustment switches are wired I was hoping to be able to buy the wiring harness could any one point me in the right direction?

It's quite simple
This is what i did. I took the bulb out of a U.S. light, and put it in the euro, then connected the old plug. I did not have the highbeam bulbs but i'm quite sure the same would work. The adjustment is pointless, just use a screwdriver to adjust your lights and you are set for quite some time. I don't see any point in wiring in a switch for it. Good luck.

I have the set of headlights. I have to admit I got them without knowing that they had the motorized adjustment.
I was just replacing a set of headlights that were broken and yellowed. I have found a picture of the control switch and would like it and the plug/harness so I can wire this up and get it working in my car.

I have also found the wiring diagram so I am good there.

You are correct. I plan to just wire up a H1 pigtail to control those.
I would like to control the alignment via the oem switch . This is probably way more work then what it is worth but I enjoy doing things that don't need to be done. Sorta like modifying an old ass car when I could just do other things lol.

Wiring for the headlight aiming switch and motors can be found in the FSM from Europe. It's very easy, and is a very nice feature to have. Surf on sxoc.com and have someone mail you the required pieces.
New headlights should come with the motors. Mine did in 2006 when I bought them.

Actually on my second in the last two months.
StanBo's Red Zenki Build - Beatcha by $12 - Import FanatiX Car Club Quote:
I found that the Subaru Peanut STI has the same switch as the Nissan so I got the switch and pigtail. The only thing I am missing now is the E39 and E52 plug. I would like to complete it with the factory plugs. Seems they also came on DRL equipped S14s. So I am trying to find a Canadian Nissan dealer that can run the part for me like Courtesy does.

Do you know of an infiniti dealer with part explosion charts like Courtesy Parts? I want to see if they use the same plug on the headlight.
