I purchased this 240 with a sr swap not too long ago. I was thinking to myself, well the engine has been relocated further back, and maybe thats causing my front end to sit higher than a stock 240. But the back is nearly the same.

Check this out.

Thats 4.5" from tire to fender in the front. In the back its just about 4"

I can only imagine that someone put other springs in the car not originally from a 240sx. But i can't find anything that's interchangeable. At this point i'd be happy with stock 240sx springs.

Does anyone know where my springs could have come from?

That's stock height.

Front wheel well is larger than the rear, thats why the front always seems higher than the rear.

Hmm upon Closer inspection of my other 240's i guess you're right. Heres some of my other ones. The gap is there. Some worse then others, i suppose i might just have a set of fresh springs and struts in this one. That would explain why its sitting so high, and the fact that it has basically no Give in the suspension. My others kinda float up and down, this one hardly moves.

Thanks for making me realize I've had stock suspension on all my 240's guys.

yeah front is higher than rear, thats common in most 240's

You have had that many stock 240s and you can't spot stock suspension and ride height?

What do you do buy and flip cars or some shit?

HA, i love mighty car mods.

Yes i do flip 240's. I buy them from locals who neglect them. Bring them back to as nice a condition as i can afford to. Then sell them and try to make a bit of profit. Typically its make a little money, then lose a little money. Easy come easy go.

Example, the Sandstone Beige metallic one, the current one i have was a drift beater in philly. I bought it not running, or driving. Blown clutch, and tons of missing parts.

Ive done the clutch, got it running. Re did the entire engine bay harness. Blah blah blah.

So yes i like 240's. But i don't usually start with a modded one.

mine looks the same but my rears is sagging so it looks like im consantly lauching. it confused me once i put the motor in the shell as this is my first 240.
