safc fried or am i not doin something right

so this in stall is on a ka24de. i am 99% sure its hooked up properly... but when i turn the ingition on just the green light lights up on the knob and i have to press the button to make anything pop up on the screen, but when it does, its just a solid light blue box.... if i turn the knob it will switch to other boxes and if i hit the button 3 times words so up but thats all i get. i double checked and triple checked the wireing. i used the safc wiring for dumbies here and i used the wireing from nico.. but it just doesnt want to work right... anyone else here ever get a fried safc2,,,,
