The fuel cell cage is done! Started the main hoop on the 6 point cage today. Making steady progress! Stay tuned!

Just some progress on the cage! Should be done by the end of the weekend. Engine should be back in about a week or so. Super excited to have it all come together.

Some more cage progress! Door bars have been added. The only thing left is the long bar behind the dash and weld everything into place. Sorry for some crappy cell phone pictures. Did not have my camera on me.
We decided to go with black to match the floor. We painted a tad bit of the door bar to see how it would turn out. After we painted it, we forgot to leave a bit exposed to weld the straight bar in behind the dash. Paid a visit to the machine shop today to drop of the painted valve covers. Decided to lay them on top just to see what they look like. I'm satisfied with the outcome. Took a few detailed pictures while I was down there.

Sorry it's been some time, we were just waiting for a few fittings to show up. Machine shop wrapped up their work and we picked up the engine. We ran into a few issues with trying to get it to fit at first. We tried the following day and were able to get it in with ease! Car is now getting IC piping fabricated as well as a 3.5" straight pipe out the rear. Stay tuned for that but this is how the car looks at the moment! Sorry for the cell phone pictures. They were sent from my friends phone.

She's back home! Now it's time to wrap everything else up (still a lot of stuff lol) and hopefully have her running by the end of September!

We are making some great progress day by day. I have a time line of 3.5 weeks. That is when I plan on having the car on the ground and running on a base tune. So far, we have done some big things and are slowly getting stuff out of the way!

It's been a while since I posted an update. We finally got the interior painted and matching gloss black. Majority of the oil fittings have arrived. A hole was cut in the firewall to make room for the oil drain because it would not fit. We are in the process of doing wiring at the moment and taking things out that are not needed anymore. We are trying to hammer things out in the timely fashion and hope to have it running sometime in October!

Also picked up another set of wheels! These will probably end up being my street set. No 100% sure yet but I've always loved these from day 1 and said I needed to have a pair if I ever own a GTR.

It's been a while as life has gotten in the way but we're slowly returning to the car. Our goal is to have this wrapped up in the next 2 weeks as I am displaying the car at a big show. We pretty much tore the car apart to clean out all the AN lines and make sure there is no gunk inside of them. We will be putting everything together tonight. We have battery power and wired up the racepak as well. The switch panel is finalized and we will be tidying up the loose ends in the coming days! The GTR should see the dyno in about 2 weeks!
