Haha, practice makes perfect. Had some time the other day to get rolling on this second motor build. Fully built. Got new freeze plugs, painted, crank installed. Eagle rods, supertech 9:1, arp, clevite bearings, cometic. Jesus file fitting rings is a bitch, may just pay the machine shop around the corner to do it.

Painted this bay for my buddy with help from my mentor

1000/1500 grit wet sand and some mcguiars scratch/swirl and compound on a variable speed buffer
Got my Pistons/rods in today. File fitting rings was a bitch.

There are 9 s-chassis at the shop right now, not including mine.
6 s13's
2 s14's
1 s14.5

And my bro dude (the car on the lift) took second at the local comp

fuck yea, nice paint job. Even thou it's not in a booth with proper equipment, not bad at all! those clearcoat runs, u can cut it down as flat as u can when it's still soft. then block it down with 600 grit sand paper with soapy water. Good job man, keep em coming.

I just have the low beam wiring ran to the low beams, and highs to the high beams. I didn't do a relay to make them both come on at the same time yet.

Here's the relay method if you haven't already seen it. Did it on my car on the weekend and it works flawlessly

Molded gauge pod

Thanks man, got the car running/driving this week. Got my head put together for my other motor
JWT valve tool is a beast for re-assembly. Took about 45mins.

Water tested the valves, no leaks. Will re-test with gas before putting it back on. The intakes leaked when they were just set in so I was a bit worried I didn't lap them enough, but after putting the springs in they didn't leak a drop.

You came up big time on that 2-way. Also interesting looking oil catch can, what brand is it or was it custom made?
