I have a brand new set of JIC Magic "REAL S2" Brake Pads for Z32 30mm fronts, and rears. I'm told these pads are made by Project Mu for JIC Japan, and are designed for spirited street driving and light/moderate track use.
These are an organic pad, similar to Hawk HPS and Project Mu B Force pads. They are rated for 0 (zero) celsius to 450 celsius, which is a great temperature range for street use that doesnt require a warm up period, yet retains a high heat soak threshold for the track. Drag coefficient is .35-.40, so rotor wear is kept to a minimum. Brake response is similar to OEM with a linear response but with a a greater bite and longevity.
These pads were recently purchased in Japan since JIC USA did not have these readily available. These retail for $200, but I'm looking to get
$140 shipped. Local pick up available in SoCal (Torrance, CA) for $130.
