so i have an s13 silvia and its got a sr20det. its running super rich (smoking and exhaust flames), it has a really bad idle and sometimes so bad that it stalls out, and 0 power what so ever. i was thinking either a massive boost/vacuum leak or a bad maf. whats your guys ideas on what it might be?

I'm experiencing the same issue, I've checked for leaks and found nothing pulled my valve cover this morning and found this.

Yea man, is off 1 link, it will run but it runs crappy. My first thought was maf as well but unfortunately not. Check your timing for sure man. The afr idles at 14.0-15.0 jumps around and at wot it dips below 10. It stumbles under boost really bad and when I come to a stop it try's to die, sometimes it will die unless you use the throttle to keep it alive.

i found my problem, it was my intercooler got a rock or something through it and was having some crazy bad vacuum leak in my engine
