I am at the point that I need to give power to my GM harness for my swap.

I have removed the nissan ECU and engine harness, but the body harness is untouched.

The problem I am having though is the body harness will not power down when I turn the key to the on position and then back to off.

With the key out everything electrical still functions (windows, warning chime, dash lights)

Also the main iginition power is registering 5 volts with the key out.

I am hesitant to connect the GM harness to ignition power until I have figure out what is going on with the Nissan system.

Any ideas.

check your chassis ground. I had the same problem, It turned out to be the ground from engine to chassis.
