i have to agree... but its not only a japanese thing. Most of the asian produced movies i see are usually pretty corny

Even the live action Initial D was corny as fuck! and that was relatively "high budget".

But Like I said the cars and driving more than make up for it.
You will never see a F&F movie with that amount of ridiculous cars combined with real driving sequences.
If we could get an American budget on a truly JDM script with no Hollywood rewrite, it would be the best car movie ever.

I know right? I enjoy watching Fast and the furious, just because it has cars in it. Also, watching those movies a few years later now and you realize just how stupid they are...
