Been lurking the forums for a while finally decided to post...
Anyway Davies my step brother is gonna be wanting a b16a and your considerably cheaper then anywhere so Ill let him know about you. And on to my question - I am thinking of doing an sr20 swap into my 240sx and was also thinking of doing the silvia front end conversion , do your clips have the body panels/ lights for that too? AND When I will be buying this if I give you enough notice would it be possible to get a lower mileage motor and if at all possible try to match close to the color I have? Just curious on that one. You can email me at [email protected] I also wanted to know how much shipping would be to 97055 . Thanks alot. |

S14lover -- AFAIK, no SR20DETs had variable valve timing in the VTEC/VVTL sense; they had some sort of variable cam timing or something like that. However, the new(ish) SR20VE has variable valve timing. |

Adey-
I don't read nizmo anywhere...it says Nismo(nissan motorsports ) followed by his name. Don't need to be rude to the guy.

I'm looking for a pretty good condition S14, clip or just engine. I know that these are good deals, and I am just wondering what I can expect to get either of these for. Also, my friend is planning on going frankenstien on his civic with a 2.0 litre block from a CRV. My qusetion is, do you import these also? Thanks a lot. -BEN

S14Dreaming~ We usually import only front clips, only because they are usually in the best condition and include all the neccessary parts to complet a full swap. Please call me for pricing. I should have a shipment in two weeks (crossing fingers). As for a Frankenstien motor we do these swaps on a daily basis. Again call me for details. My temp. # is 323.356.0523.

damn...one day installs...nice.
I am interested in a s14 sr20det for my 97. I am shooting for december, so how could I gurantee to get it done. I would be coming from Texas on my winter break from college...luckily my aunt will let me borrow one of her condos. How much extra will it be to get the ac, power whatever hooked up? Also, do you gurantee the engines in anyway? And when you said $2600 earlier for the sr...does that include install? Also, sr20fastback...when are you going to go out there...setup a date to meet a fellow zilvia member from WA...plus...free room at the condo if you want to save some cash.

Dave, tried calling your cell but it wasn't working.
I got the clip today, the body parts don't look like they made it through the trip so well. I guess that's understandable though. The hood got flattened pretty good. Do you have another one you could hook me up with? I am missing some parts too. I am missing: corner lights intercooler assy w/recirc valve pipe from IC to throttle On the plus side, the clip came with an intact 3" downpipe on it already. Since I don't really need the blitz DP, maybe we could work out some kind of trade for a aftermarket blowoff valve you might have or something? Give me a call when you have a chance.

Let me know...it's a sweet ass condo right on Huntington Beach (right on PCH), and the other one is just up the road in Long Beach (right on PCH again facing the ocean. The Huntington Beach one will be the one I try to score...badass condo facing the beach with hotties in and out of the place. My aunt's comin in to town today, then off to Antartica or Russia...can't remember. But I'll check with her to see if it's cool...more than likely she will give up one of the condos.

No, unfortunately JDM Recycler do _not_ carry CA18DET clips... I wish they did though, I think I'd like the high revving nature of that thing. I'm also a sucker for 1.8 litre turbos. Maybe if enough of us ask for them, he'll start to look into CA18s! |
