Yahoo Auctions (Japan) + Babelfish
If you're bored, check this out. (I know some of you have already done this..but...for all the newbies...)
First go here: http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Then select "Japanese to English translation", and enter this web address in the "http:" box http://www.yahoo.co.jp Once you arrive at Yahoo of Japan, click the "auction" link, then once at the auction site, enter "180sx" into the search box. Then open a second browser window and goto: http://www.xe.com Here you can convert the current bid prices from Yen to US dollars.....just to torture yourself by how cheap things are over there. I've been waiting about a year to find some quality JDM S13 side skirts on ebay (USA), and I find 3 pairs on the first page of my yahoo (Japan) search. I've yet to see one item whose seller will ship to the US, but if you have a military hookup in Japan...you could get some cool stuff. anyways, -m |

It's the people that put their stuff up for auction that 99% of the time don't want to bother with international communication/shipping.
There are services that will bid on these auctions for you and ship the parts to the USA. I don't know the name of them off hand, though. |

I remember it being discussed, don't have the links to the site but thier is a company that will bid and ship things to you for a cost. IMO your best bet would be find a person in japan and buy stuff on ebay and stash it at thier place and when either your friend comes to america, or you go to japan pick it up. I am not too sure on the shipping charges that company had.

There are about a million Japan to USA proxy bidding services out there. Some are cheap, some are not.
Just use Google and search for them... sorry that I don't know any offhand, but about five minutes of searching should get you what you need. :P |

Hmmm..that is very interesting. I'm just wondering if it would be possible to.....for example let's say i like this car http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...on%2Fd29526584 and i wona get it in Canada but not as a car to be driven but as an item, any kind of item like if you would ship a piano or a table or anithing...so my quastion is if it would be possible to ship the car as a normal item and not as a car to be driven?

ccomputer translation seems very rough. You should find people who speak Japanese/English.
Most of sellers on yahoo JP don't ship the items out of JP, I asked some sellers about shiping the items to the U.S, most of them refused, because they never shipped packages oversea. They affraid that the item is going to be missing, or breaking. If the seller speaks English, He will send you items to anywhere. |
