Ka24de MAF Sensor Good/Bad

Car Idle's Rough when the MAF sensor is Connected..

when i disconnect it, the Idle is very smooth..*but when throttle is applied it struggles* but it idles fine..

once again, when reconnecting it starts to Idle Rough..

*Tried Cleaning... same thing

Anybody have one i can Use to Test??

or have any suggestions?

perhaps the wiring is messed up...

This MAF worked fine on the Car i took it from, thats why its confusing me....

ALSO< my o2 sensor is Brand new...

?? confused??

*tried searching aswell*

How well did the other car really idle? Did you try it back on the car you took it from? Maybe it got banged around in transit?

How does the car you are testing drive with the other MAF in it? Same vintage of car?

The car will idle smooth with the MAF unplugged because it goes into a "limp mode", you may also notice it has a rev limit of ~1500rpm.

^^ your right, it does have a rev Limit of 1500

the issue is.

i bought the MAF from a guy who was parting out his track car..... he mentioned his car ran fine with it..(although it could have been a lie)

I just question how the car runs Rough WITH the MAF connected.... which leads me to believe that the maf is bad... my car Eventually just stalls out...(*so i thought i could have a vacume leak) ..

BUT, How could i have a vacuum leak if the car idles just fine without the MAF sensor..

Weird...
