Jakes LQ9/T-56/GT-47 turbo S13.5

I bought my car back in 2006 ran a SR20 for a while then in 2010 swapped in a 6.0 LQ4 with cam and bolt-ons went 11.5 at 125mph the first time at the track. I drove it for a year or so before my most recent build up with:
LQ9/317 heads/224 cam/ ARP bolts
Built T-56
Garrett GT-47
Q45 rear with 30 spline axles
6-pt cage
New fuel system
Tubed front end
After some fiberglass and sanding
Cam only
Jakes Lq4 240sx dyno - YouTube
Cam only with bolton results
Then this

After a bit of work: Welded v-bands on my flipped truck manifolds

This merge pipe was fun

Finally got it (Dont mind the Harbor freight flux core temporary welds)

Bringing it across (ended up about 1/4" from my crank pulley)

Mocking it up

Time for nice welds

And here she sits
Fluid was like new, with no metal on the magnetic plug

Also welded in 1/2 of my roll cage.

I guess LSX is boring now-a-days. I'm shooting for 8.9x's in the quarter with IRS and a 6-speed. Maybe after some track results and videos ill get more love.

YES YES YESSS!!!!

I'm a LSx man at heart and grew up on small block Chevys way before I discovered my first 240sx. I bought a sr20 and have gotten pretty deep with a large Precision turbo and big boost, but I know it's only a matter of time before I go this route. (Hopefully turbo LS2)

I'm looking forward to some updates. This is common in other chassis, but just not so common with the 240sx crowd.

I take it your a weekend warrior at the drag strip?

Love it!! I have been tossing around the idea of a 5.3L Turbo setup. But I am not a quarter mile guy (once in a while). Sounds like an NA setup would work for me (like your LQ4 setup). There is nothing like the sound of a V8 Great job man! I am looking forward to more updates on this build as she goes for sure!

Thanks guys,

Im definately not a drag only guy, ive done my fair share of sliding and still do.
On the Turbo LSx s13 I have recently put in a Walbro 400lph pump, Q45 solid mounted diff with 30 spline axles and hubs, 1/2' feed and return fuel lines, modified the front "Power brace area" setup with box tubing. Yesterday I was building up the new motor with ARP bolts, cam, melling oil pump, heads, and valvetrain.

Got a built tranny also

This is my Daily Driver S14 with LS1/t56

this is cool shit. im not a huge fan of throwing a turbo to it, but still cool none the less.
i used to have an ls1 s13 and now rb s13 with eventually make it back to LM4 with a modest goal of 300 to the wheels.

My goal for my daily driven S14 Ls1 is about 400 to the wheels, its stock now with longtubes and Ls6 intake so its probably around 300-325rwhp now and its pretty fun.

I havent take my S14 to the track yet but, a guy I know has a s14 ls1 that's bone stock even with stock manifolds, and he broke into the 11's. But he has a ton of passes on it, I would say low 12's consistently.

I am looking forward to getting out there and getting to the fab stuff. I run a welding shop in the military, so I have access to some cool tools and a damn good welding specialist as well Thanks for the inspiration!

You can use a DBC setup....I have my LS6 intake using an eBay bracket and 00 LS1 throttle. I'm using a 411 PCM which is DBC and Wiring Soecialities Harness which are both setup for DBC.
