I don't think there's any Hmong related stuff to buy in the LA area. But being in Long Beach, you're surrounded by tons of them and their local stores probably have a ton of cultural things to buy. Be forewarned that most Hmong ornaments/clothing/etc are all hand made and are pretty $$$$$ for what they are.
Good luck! You should have went to the Hmong New Year in Long Beach there this past weekend.

I'm Hmong, but I don't live in LA. I have a brother and some friends who live in Long Beach though and they can probably help you out if they have time. Hit me up.

You have the biggest new year coming up in a day or two, head up to Fresno for the biggest Hmong New Year every year. Usually its at the fairgrounds in Fresno, starts usually the 26th or 27th of Dec every year and lasts for a few days. My parents and a few brothers are heading up there tomorrow or the 26th for it.
You'll find Hmong dancing, clothing, ornaments, traditional music & folk singing, food, etc etc...pretty much give you the grade you're wanting.
