Won't idle misfires bogs all the way to 3000 rpm till full boost

Hi I have an S14 SR20.

I have been constantly having this problem on and off but I am starting to have it a lot more often. Right now it's just always. It once got so bad I was probably going 10 kmph at WOT.

What happens is that it bogs, hesitates, falls face flat on the floor, and refuses to idle until about 1300 rpm where it sort of runs okay and then it begins misfiring either at 2000 or 3000 and I can hear the boost build up while its doing 20 kmph WOT and then when it seems like I have a lot of boost it'll stop misfiring . Which makes it incredibly dangerous sometimes as its raining and it launches super hard.

It has been on and off. When I first got the car it had no issues. I drove into a flood then it began having issues. Took it to a garage they fixed it ran fine for a week and now again it's doing the same thing on and off. Some cranks would be fine some would not. Doesn't matter if it even rained or not.

But it pulls super hard at 4k when it does get to 4k which is after 10 seconds of boost build up while 20 kmph and everyone wondering why I am slower than walking while I am just WOT trying to get it going.

Any ideas?

Wait, you drove your car into water so deep it sucked water in through the air filter? Did the inside of your car get flooded? did the ecu get water damage? Ask the shop what they did to fix it the first time, they can at least point you in the right direction of where to start looking. Sounds like a IC coupler could be loose but still connected enough that it runs in the manner which you describe. Could be an ecu issue if it got completely drenched/submerged. Could be a water logged harness that never completely dried out. It could be so many different things in any combination. Talk to the shop and report back.
