s14 single cam swap wiring.
I recently bought a near complete single cam swap for my s14. It came, with the engine harness and ecu. The plug from the ecu to go under the dash to guages and stuff is cut to just bare wires. The s14 came with a butchered garbage harness. Itsjust a drift car so i ripped the hole harness out of the car. My question is, up toward the front, there is a brown connector and a gray connector. Are these just light wires or do they serve some importance towards sensors or the engine running? I just want to supply power to the ecu, alternator and all sensors without a chassis harness.

I'm not sure at all why you'd swap a SOHC into anything but that's your prerogative so I wont question you.
As for hooking up the harness as you'd like. It's pretty simple. Plug the ecu harness into the ecu and run the engine harness into the bay to all the plugs they need to go to. If they aren't plugging into anything on the engine then they have nothing to do with anything plugged in on the engine lol. Pretty easy huh? Basically if you're just looking to run all the sensors on the engine, then all of the plugs you would need would run right to the motor and designated sensor etc..
