Steering Wheel Install trouble (Searched)
I think this is the right forum, not sure where else I'd go :
ok, so me and my brother(SpeedMonkeyInc) were almost finished installing a Momo wheel I picked up in japan. Everything was fine untill we went to bolt the wheel to the quick release. It seems that the drillled holes on the steering wheel itself dont line up to the quick release, on either of the patterns it supports. We looked further into to it and the quick release and the hub (HKB) line up perfectly, so I'm sure it's the wheel. My question is what to do, someone suggested to keep rotating the wheel and see if it ever lines up because the holes on the wheel aren't symetric, but neither me or any of my brothers know a whole lot about steering wheels. I'd like an opinion from someone who knows more about them than we do. Thanks in Advance. Last edited by OMGWTFBBQ; 04-05-2005 at 11:25 AM.. |

Different wheels use different hub patterns. You bought the wrong one.

odd, the momo pattern is very common and it should fit... you probably got some funky wheel, try borrowing another one i guess
