front axle nut question

i converted to 5 lug and when i torque my front axle nuts to 75 ft/lbs, the hub doesn't seem to spin freely but wen i loosen it to about 50 ft/lbs it spins with ease... may i have faulty hubs/bearings? my oem 4 lug spin freely at 75 ft/lbs.

help pleaseee ! i am currently running on them at 50 ft/lbs and yes i have the cotter pin on. however, i do NOT feel safe unless i get some sort of confirmation that it is "ok"

thanks !

Is the washer in place, and properly aligned? Sounds like no.

the washer actually is in place. i checked it then, flipped it, made sure it sat correctly and still a negative. im going to work on it again tomorrow morning and tighten it down to 75 ft/lbs and see if it might have fixed itself. anymore suggestions?

When removing the front left the axle/hub nub, is it counter clockwise or clockwise? It's not mentioned in the FSM.

They're all counter clockwise when removed.
