SR20DET Spraybar Problem

Hi all,

I have a Datsun project with an SR20DET that I am having a problem with. The oil spraybars above the cams are just barely dribbling oil out of the 1 hole on the bar (the closest hole to the oil supply). I removed the bars and used compressed air and carb cleaner to flush them. I reinstalled and no change. The car has an oil filter sandwich adapter, with remote oil filter and an oil cooler. I am showing oil pressure at cold idle of 65 to 70 PSI so it seems as though pressure is not a problem? The Oil Pressure sensor is mounted on the sandwich plate. What should I check next?

Thanks,

Ryan

My case may be unique... kind of embarrassed to say this, but due to the new oil cooler their was apparently air in the oil cooler lines that needed to be purged. Didn't do that. I need to check compression tomorrow but I may fuck ruined my motor.

In short, purge the air from your oil lines...
