I just got the problem last night. I was driving and my e brake came on full bright with the battery light dim. Tried to restart after getting home and it starts, but the idle drops and shuts off. It will only stay on if i give some throttle to keep it from dropping. It will stay on if I ease of the gas, but idle stays low. Can anyone give any suggestions?

holy fuck im having the same exact problem...
when the brake light come on theres a buzzing noise as well...i duno if urs is doing the same

no buzzing but e brake light stays on after its disengaged

Have you tested spark plugs, injectors, MAF, fuel filter, vaccume hoses, air filter, PCV? It is probably one of those.

i replaced that vacuum(sp?) hose that connects the valve cover and the intake tube, and that two sensor plug thats at the back of the engine, between the end of the valve cover and the firewall and adjust the idle screw a lil bit, and now its staying on, but still dips low when i start it, this other dude suggests me to clean the EGR valve and the MAF

s13 with 95 KA with a s13 auto ecu(#27)

still having that ebrake problem tho

well yea, a dirty egr valve will affect idle... but if your e-brake and battery light are still on its most likely the alternator...
