Insane.

Looked closer to way over 200.

Seen the 140MPH 1/32 scale slot cars?

I guess as long as people have money to spend, the bar will always be raised.

Well, I can't see the vid. And I was and some what still into r/c's...but 200mph sounds a lil hard to believe, i wouldn't blame anyone who didn't believe it. 1-2 years ago, fast r/cs were 100mph, but 200mph?!?! I have a RCCA with 2 cars that were taken to a full
scale Oval to be tested.

Since I can't see the vid. Does anyone know what scale? motor size? car?

Edit: I wen't and dug up the old mag. 2001 Cliff Lett set world record top speed for an RC (AE RC10 L30) at 111MPH. This was an electric, which I would think is the best to do top speed runs instead of nitro. Does the vid show a speed gun?

Edit Edit : Saw the vid. Still doesn't show the speed? But w/e, the fly thing makes me wonder

That is BULLSH*T. Not because of the speed. It actually IS going about 200mph. But that's not radio control. It's called control line. The tether is holding it in. That's got to be the most boring thing on the planet. "Hey let's lean the @#$% out of the engine, tie it to a string and watch it blow up."

R/C top speed is done in a velodrome, about 120-130mph. Electric. Nitro cannot keep up to a properly designed/prepped electric car.
