I think I would have liked to see a 2 stroke.
Too much to ask for a CR500?

(since I'm doing numbers today, might as well continue) 1. This guy is not your average shade tree mechanic he has a workspace, the proper tools, the proper knowledge, the budget...... 2. This is part of his job, he works on it constantly. You know why I work on my car only on the weekends? I work full time. If I worked on my car full time instead of what I do know, it would be much further along. 3. It's a fucking scooter. 2 wheels, extemely minimal wiring, 1 non adjustable seat, no body, no windows, easily accessible to work on, easily moved and lifted, etc....... 4. This thing is badass I'm just getting blue balls and want to see it run. |

I really want a ruckus...but I would obviously have to mod it to be happy with the final product.
Extended swingarm, new wheels, tires, and a 150 swap would end up costing more than a ninja 250r. Apples and oranges comparison, but the still... |

Those things are pretty dope.
I doubt I would feel comfortable driving one around in Vegas though. We have terrible drivers. But they would make for some cool pit bikes. I'm curious to see how big these things are gonna take off in the next few years.

It's either that or a dzr400. I need help with my obsession over bikes. Wish it was possible to be happy with one.

You should totally get one.
There are so many badass maxi-scoots on the market in Japan that have already been modded up, just change some shit around to make it your own. As much as I like my Ruckus, if I was in Japan, I'd definitely have a Majesty or a Maxam. I just got my daytona drag bars and clamp in the mail for my Ruck. My back is going to hurt like whoa (at least until I can scrounge up some front pegs), but it'll look fucking sweet, lol.

i LULZ at the product description @ PW:JDM.
"Just what every Ruck needs, storage! If you're sick of wearing a backpack to haul shit around, then you need this functional piece of carbon sweetness. If you have a stock bike, then you can just slide this in and go, but we really designed this to maximize storage on bikes with the NCY engine extension and NCY lowered seat frame. If you've done these mods, then you still need to route all your wiring under the frame crossmember and grind off the coolant catchtank post for this to fit. In return the bin let's you store a full 12 pack of your favorite beverages. Just don't drink and drive dumbass!" they also say something about "it's lighter than kate moss" DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! LMAO
