Looks better.

You can always just buy one of those cassette to aux cables.

I dont have any CD's to listen to.

i've got a stock s13 tape deck. it took me a loooooooong time to find one.
it worked for quite a while, then the numbers for what station youre on stopped working, and then the tape deck stopped working, now only the am/fm radio works.

you should buy it from me for $25 shipped

Plenty of aftermarket stereos are not flashy.

Only broke asses had tape-decks in the 90's. That shit was so 80's. Cool kids had MD Decks.

Didn't Nissan make some OEM CD decks for S13's? I seem to remember seeing one before...
But these days I'd rather have a tape deck to plug my iPod into anyway...

Yes I have one. Its two stereos that connect. One tape and a cd slave.

The cassette-to-aux adapters give terrible audio quality, just so you know. Like worse than mono.

Something like this looks perfect.

Import Monster | View B NISSAN CD 28185 0A500 RM V20SAV K

or this genuine Sony unit from a R32.

That probably won't work because of radio signal, I think japan used different radio signal right? i dunno

Look at later model nissan stereos, if the wiring is different, shouldn't be hard to match up. Figure you could still put an amp on the speaker out lines, and upgraded speakers to get better sound.

Exact same thing with me. Number display doesn't show. My tape does work, iirc. I'm selling one also if anyone wants to stick to the OEM look.

Retarded. Stripped but run a heavy ass sub? Why not run full interior then? It's only a few more pounds on top

On topic I have an oem tape deck in my '90. Works fine except sometimes the numbers will disappear. Stock antanna works aswell

For sale to

yeah, 10". so fucking heavy.

i should probably get my whole car done in dry carbon, since im all about that lightweight life.

I still have most of the interior front seats forward, just like majority of people here -rear is stripped. SORRY I DIDNT CLARIFY.

Find one from any make of vehicle that is close enough in dimension and make it fit.

Different people have different priorities and reasons for doing things that make sense to them.
Pretty sure most people would not agree with half of the things I do to my car, and I do not care to justify them to anyone.

guys cut it out with the arguing no one cares about "canadia"

Back on topic like someone suggested Nakamichi is very popular when it comes to stock/OEM looking stereos.

here in Australia there is a local electronic store that sells this very simple mp3 player/radio that I used for the factory look

s13 Factory "Look" Radio how-to guide - Hardtuned.net

The best looking one is from a silvia k's ca18, one of the original radio's that s13's had back in 88' :
