1jz question
Well didn't realize that there was a difference between auto and manual flywheels.(new to this)... So is there anyway to use the auto flywheel in a manual tranny? I'm guessing that it isn't possible but I thought maybe someone might be able to tell me something. It's non vvti too btw

i think you need to search google a bit more. im not too sure what you are asking about them being small in with, if anything they are thicker where the flywheel bolts to the crank.
heres a pic of a flywheel for a 2jz (same flywheel as a 1j) and flywheel bolts

See my flywheel is 2x the size of that and it's for a "1jz" I got the bolts from drift motion so ik they are the right size. But they are 36mm and I need atleast 55mm bolts to go though the holes on my flywheel

ive been building jz cars for quite some time and if your flywheel is 2x the side of that then you have the wrong flywheel. if you got the bolts from Arron (owner of DM) then you got the right ones. can you post a picture of your flywheel?

im almost 100% sure thats a v160 flywheel and not an r154 flywheel. i probably should have asked if you were running an r154 or a v160 before.
a r154 is a 5speed trans out of a mk3 supra a v160 is a 6speed trans out of a mk4 supra

That's probably why I paid a arm and a leg for it and why it won't work. So I found a r154 flywheel and he used it in his r154 so it will be the right one, guess ill sell it on eBay with the right na me on it

the last one you posted looks to be right, i believe hes talking about the other one you posted before. also yes the 7m has a 6 bolt pattern and the JZ flywheels have a 8 bolt pattern
all JZ flywheels and flexplates have the same bolt pattern where it bolts to the crank
