pretty much made the most stupidest choice one can make.
At 17 you drink dont say you dont.played a few games of beer pong. winning of course so i didnt drink much. sobered up for a good 4-5 hours.
dropped a buddy off and as i was coming home i got rolled up on.
For no reason to pull me over other than i had my window down and my hat kinda off my head he most likley though i was a little punk.
Anyways got pulled over. asked to follow his finger...did that
did the the little breathalyzer and here is what i dont get.
When asked to see what i got he said NO
when asked to do the test again as i felt i was not buzzed or drunk he said NO
when asked what he pulled me over he said swerving...asked to see that tap and he said NO?
I dont even know what i blew?
anyways im willing to take the punishment like a man but whats with cops?

I just want to know if anyone knows someone who is under 21 and has got a DUI about how much fees are.

yea bro my buddy got a dui on prom night he got the car towed a big ticket, license taken away for a long time hes barely getting it back and had to take some classes that cost a grip and take alot of time.

don't waste any time and get a lawyer. If he didn't state why you got pulled over then you might be able to get by. A lawyer is your best bet by FAR. You should never blow in a breathalizer if you've been drinking. Why not just give yourself a while to sober up and let the cop drive you to the station. If you haven't been drinking then just blow in the breathalizer and move on.

Yea you're pretty much screwed. If they didnt impound your car they were nice. looking at around 3000 to 5000 in fines, license gone and when you do get it back your insurance is gonna suck.

Why the fuck are you asking whats up with cops? YOU admitted you broke the law, a DUI is a DUI.

Talk to the public defender, DON'T talk to anyone else, and that includes posting up admissions on a public car forum about what happened. Jeez.

What is up with all these threads about people getting caught doing stuff? Why is everyone's first reaction " HEY! I'LL TELL EVERYONE ON THE INTERNETS WHAT HAPPENED!"

For anyone else that's NOT in trouble yet, I can't give you legal advice (not without charging you, and not even that yet), but here's some common sense:

If someone random guy on the internets gives you advice, you're welcome to follow it. That's your choice.

But if that someone makes a mistake or is plain stupid, there is zero accountability for what happens.

A LAWYER on the other hand, will probably charge you, but you get the peace of mind of knowing that someone that knows what the heck he's doing is handling your shit. It's pretty hard to fuck up a traffic violation.

Cliff notes:

If you get in a trouble.
Shut the fuck up.
Do not post on the internet.
Talk to a lawyer.
Listen to what he tells you.
Answer his questions honestly.
If you can't afford a lawyer, you'll get a free one.

You can kill yourself and those around you
You regret doing so when you get a non-reversible life threatening disease
You feel like a dumb fuck for doing so when it's too late to go back and do it all over again
It costs thousands of dollars and can be completely avoided with just a little self discipline
It's one of the dumbest, most advertised, documented activities that one can partake in in his lifetime
