good shop in SoCal to have head+block decked?
Near Pasadena.
My head gasket said Fuck you. So I need a good place to go in southern California to have them both decked. And quite possibly have the whole HG job done there. Recommendations? Also, I need a good alignment shop too.. Thanks people.

Hey evan, sorry about your car... you missed out on an awesome event.
Anyways, were you looking to just repair the headgasket or upgrade/mod it in any way? Also, do you have SR or KA? My mechanic is this old chinese guy in Arcadia and he does great work but usually just repairs stuff. It's a maintenance and auto repair shop more than anything else. Let me know if you're interested. I can give you a ballpark figure on the entire headgasket job because my cousin took his KA s14 there when he blew his HG. PM me or hit me up on AIM... oh yea, for alignment... JC Autohouse in Lower Azusa (i think)-also near Arcadia, or G-Dimension (Alex Phiffer)

Yah, sucks.. I really wanted to go but its good I didn't.
I kicked the clutch 1 time and my temps shot up like crazy.. I have stock KA. For now I just want the headgasket redone, the head and block decked, and some headstuds thrown in. Yah, shoot me a number. Thanks man.

For alignments check out local discount tire centers, or america's tire center. They have options for "lifetime" alignments.
It's like 180-200. The downside, sometimes the techs are retarded, so make sure you give them alignment specs you want. If your car is slammed, it wont fit on the rack. |
