so being that 02 wrxs and what not are cheap as hell and still kinda be like a new car *well to me...

I never liked the looks of em, but being 02-07 all same chassis you could do the front and rear conversions..

but dam i just saw this on speed hunters

man that thing looks clean as hell.. soo simple... Probably wouldnt take much to make a comparable looking one. Be one sweet ass daily driver.
Just looks like you could drive it everywhere and not worry too much about the typical stuff you might go thru with a slammed kitted s13/s14 as a daily driver etc

Anyone got any info on these? Is the theft population big on these?

I kinda like the older Mirage to EVO conversions but i wouldnt have the time to do the drivetrain swap..

From what I remember they had a lot of transmission problems.

Just don't launch it if you get one haha.

Also, that one is sick but its wide bodied.

well 02-07 is same chassis just remodeled front and rear tail lights, some people had updated teh bug eye to 04 or 06 front ends.

I always thought of these cars as ugly and everyone has em.. but after seein that example is making me think twice about em.. Cheap , turbo awd daily driver, and less then 10 years old so still a modern car.

Just curious as to why that one looks soo dam good.. i guess its got fender flares, shaved side markers and emblems and rear spoiler , lip kit and great stance.

Only the early 02's. Rest is chicken little BS. Learn to shift and you won't blow the sycro's basically.

vvvvWell that sucks balls. These things are awesome but I don't like AWD as a fun car because of the way I beat on them.

i always wanted one but dont think i could afford insurance+selling my car and adding the money i need for one.

car does look like a good DD though, if you arent worried about gas, since you prolly will end up fully modding it, and spending lots and lots of money on random bits and pieces.

I personally would get a 2.5 litre WRX if I were set on a WRX. The 2.0 litre has trouble spooling aftermarket turbos.

STi's are getting cheaper so I would only get a WRX if I want to keep it stock.

They have some nice Nissan interchangeability IIRC. They upgrade to our R180s and R200 diffs.

Comes down to how the car is done... I think they look worse than both newer front ends 99% of the time... but that white car looks great with them.

The new 09 WRX is 265 HP, comes with the factory aero for that price, and just over $25k. I'd rather have that.
