SR Apexi turbo timer help?

I got the Circuit Sports TT harness from FRsport, also I have the pdf manual for the TT.

I was reading through it about the 3 extra wires, the white, black and grey.

I know grey goes to the Ebrake switch, black is ground and white, goes to the O2 wire going to the ECU, or so the manual says. I want it to give me A/F ratios.

so my question is does the white wire actaully go to the O2 on the ECU, I've read that it taps in to the speed wire and also the tach signal? also that for it to work the ground has to be spliced into the ecu?

btw, its a 89 hatch, with an kouki(I believe) s14 sr20det.

Tap it into the o2 sensor signal wire. I have the same turbo timer and I have the A/F reading working on my KA.

thanks for the reply, did you ground it to the ecu? as the pic shows the dotted ground saying if you dont use the 02 signal, it was kinda confusing, do I have to do it that way?

Yea I tapped into a ground from the ecu and grounded the unit to it. I'm pretty sure it will still work fine if you ground it to the chassis.

You have the PDF instructions and you cant follow it? It says right ground the black wire if NOT using the o2 sensor signal. Since you're using it, then tap it into the ground into the ECU.

Are you sure the circuit sports harness isn't wired wrong? It should only turn on with the key in ON position and as long as it detects that ebrake is grounded, you should be able to change settings.
