BREAKING! Infiniti Essence!
THAT IS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!
"Powered by a twin-turbo, direct-injection 3.7-liter V6 and a new electric drive design dubbed "3D Motor", the Essence yields a combined 592 brake horsepower (434 via internal-combustion, 158 brake horsepower via the lithium-ion backed disc-shaped electric motor). The very unjapanese scale of the Essence yields a more Nippon-influenced interior for two, including an attractive driver-oriented "cocoon" that features a flat-bottomed steering wheel, hand-painted wood designed to look like Japanese laquerware and eccentricities like asymmetrical seat seams that mimic the way 'Japanese men and women tie their kimonos." Presumably, said kimonos fit nicely in the bespoke Louis Vuitton luggage (made more accessible via a powered trunk shelf)." -Autoblog There's even a vid. Geneva 2009: Consider The Show Stopped - Infiniti rolls out its Essence on a grand scale

But what is under all the show stopping sexiness is Infinti's new design language. The front fascia is just intoxicating. The rear is just as beautiful.

So is this the oft-rumored Infiniti's GT-R? or a 1-Series fighter (aka Nissan's 240sx replacement) or just purely a design exercise?

Is masturbation a proper response to these images?

Wow. I'm speachless. That looks absolutely amazing. Screw the motor, put a KA in it, I'll buy it.
On a side note... Road head is going to require some creativity. |

The powertrain does remind me of GT-R (twin turbo V6) and it's an interesting design language. I wonder if they will be able to pull it off on a production car. I can see a few elements making it into the next iteration of the M (i.e. headlights).

I'm gonna have to agree with exitspeed on this one. The proportions to make it look more like a GT supercar.

The interior is too much for me.
Overall, great, but the interior needs to be changed.(If it's ever even produced) |
