help with sr..not running right, turbo intake duct ?

ihey guys, i finally got my car running but theres a couple of issues..
when i bought the sr it didnt come with an intake.. so for right now i went to lowes and made me an intake.. i bought a tube about a 1' foot long 2 inches in diameter. the car idles and will rev all the way if i use 30 percent trottle. if i just floor it it will just fall on it face. it also stumbles when i slowly gas it... All this is becouse of that intake? messd up the air/fuel flow right? i just want to make sure, im already looking for a original intake. btw when i did the wiring by the ecu, i dont remember hooking up the fuel pressure wire.. can that be causing it? please help thanks

There is no such thing as fuel pressure wire. Fuel pressure is regulated mechanically... You might be stumbling cause you have a vacuum like or air leak in the intake.... Don't bother speculating until you get one thing fixed.

start by checking the ecu for codes.
When you turn the ignition to the on (not start) position does the fuel pump prime, then stop? If, it does you're OK with the wiring.

I thing your timing may be off, check that. Plugs maybe fouled check those, if the plugs are not broken or damaged, when you fix the timing it should clean up the plugs.

Vacuum leak, yes it's possible you have a vacuum leak... Do you have a boost gauge with vacuum? What's the vacuum at idle? vacuum at 2500rpm?

I don't know the design of your intake but as long as it not leaking, you should be able to rev freely.
