s14 auto shift problems

hey guys I've been trying to figure out what's up with my trans. it shifts just fine but you have to hotdog the piss out of it to get it to shift. I've done a flush. and filter but still nothing. I was told might be a speed sensor but my speedo works fine so idk what it might be. Would a trans computer cause this or would it be the shift solenoids in the trans. I don't have time to do a 5 speed as this is my daily driver so any help would be greatful. ive looked in the fsm for my year model car even went to the dealer and asked but stilll nothing
