1989 Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T
The time has come. Selling my absolute prized possession. I have never driven a car that makes me feel the way I do in this great vehicle. I am selling my 1989 Nissan Skyline.
The car is originally an R32 GTS (note the GTS badge on the trunk). Before making its way to the states, the factory automatic RB20DE was swapped with a healthy RB20DET with a 5 speed manual transmission. The car has around 100,000 kilometers. That's roughly 60,000 miles on a 29-year-old vehicle, and it shows. This is not some random drift missile that gets trashed. The car originally had a 2 piston 4 lug brake/hub setup, which was swapped with a Z32 5 lug swap along with 26mm Z32 brake calipers/rotors. Stock VLSD is swapped with a fresh Tomei 2-Way Differential. HICAS has been eliminated with a Driftworks HICAS Eliminator Kit. This car handles like an absolute dream on and off the track. As mentioned, everything is there *Exterior* - Overall condition of the body and paint is great. Original factory paintjob. Front bumper has a minor crack and scuff - DMAX +15 Front Fenders - DMAX Vented Hood - DMAX Roof Wing - GK Tech Aero Side Mirrors WILL NOT COME WITH - Vertex Steering Wheel (Bring your own steering wheel. I will leave the NRG hub & Quick Release on) - Weds Bazreia Wheels, but can be included if the price is right (18x9.5 +20). Will come with OEM G35 wheels - STATUS Ring Bucket Seats. Will come with stock seats, unless the price is right Cons - Hot starts can be a little difficult. Something to do with ECUMaster EMUs. But my tuner was not able to figure out. The IACV and AAC valves have been deleted, so that may also be a culprit - Frame rails are CLEAN, but had a mishap with a U-Haul trailer that caused part of the frame rail to lift up. Does NOT affect the car and how it handles. More of just a cosmetic issue - Brakes have a vibration when braking from high speed. Could use a turn on the lathe - Front middle and passenger side dash vents are broken. Came to me like that, and never bothered to replace them I'm sure I've forgotten a bunch of upgrades and modifications. Yes, the car is legal. Federal and State. Read up on the 25 year law. I had zero issues getting the car registered, and no issues insuring the car through my insurance company. Overall, the car is in great condition. No leaks, no strange noises, nothing. My asking price is $17,500. Yes, it is significantly more expensive than a 240SX. The condition of the car will speak for itself. I am not dying to get rid of this car. Typical cliche "I know what I have", yada yada. Don't like the price? Offer me something I can't refuse. I won't be driving it as much, and will just be a driveway ornament that looks absolutely amazing. I will listen to any reasonable offers. NO TRADES. I repeat... NO TRADES. Shoot me a text at 8472083059 with any questions, offers, etc. I have a billion pictures on my phone and will be more than happy to send them to you. I am at work from 11 AM until 7 PM, and will sporadically get cellular signal in and out through the day. The car is located in Des Plaines, IL.
