I paid 6 months ago $2,500 for my '92 FB in excellent condition. And I fully believe that I paid $500 too much. Unfortunitly there rn't many 240s in topeka so I was willing to pay for it. I don't know if that's the case in Chi-town or not, but I wouldn't pay any more then $2,500...unless it's spotless and/or you REALLY want it.

Wheres the rest of the stb???? But in any rate, where at in Chicago? Also, its not that bad, except for the fact that it has 150K... it should be more like 2500K.

i would pay3k and am paying 3000 for this car. hes bringing it to my house tom. i agree that 150k is alot for 3000 but honestly , i have been looking for months and this has got to be the nicest and cleanest coupe i have seen. plus, it runs and drives great. also if the original poster is still looking for a coupe, there is a black 91 5spd. coupe for sale. the dealer is asking around 2500, and the car seems nice . the only problem is that it has hideous body graphics. i did ask him about them and suppossedly they are stickers that can be removed. anyway there is more info on ebaymotors. hope this helps and good luck on your search just be patient and you will will find somthing perfect for you.and if you want ill take you for a ride sometime.

wow, that car looks *exactly* like mine, except for the add-on junk and the pinstripe. I bought my car a year ago for $3700 with 124k... yeah I severely overpaid, but I didn't know any better, was in a hurry to find something and even that was a better deal than I could find elsewhere at the time.
But if I were you I'd just keep waiting to find a nice SOHC base coupe, cause it seems like that is what you are really looking for. That's what I would do too if I could start again... try to find a '89 two-tone for under 2k, and have plenty to spend on fresh parts and improvements. Any S13 you get is going to need all sorts of wear items replaced (bushings especially), and at 120k+ average for S13, a DOHC KA isn't much more of a performance candidate than an SOHC - the stock power is not good enough to get worked up about, and you're not going turbo without a rebuild. So if you're putting time and money into it anyway just find a good sunroofless chassis and don't worry too much about the rest as long as it's cheap.

yeah, unfortunately i am overpaying but talking him down wasnt really an option. i dont know if he told you or not, but since he put the ad up 2 days ago hes had sseveral calls. he even had some one coming from minnesota that offered for the car with out even seeing it. it was basically take it or leave it.... and i coudnt just leave it. besides i think of it as saving a 240 from a ricer, can you even put a price on that?
