What's a good manual boost controller?
Hi everybody I just put my sr in and I was thinking of putting a boost controller on it. So what is a good type of controller. I know that you can make one at your local hardware store but I really don't want to go cheap unless it really no difference. I was thinking of a TurboXS controller or the dual boost controller. Are they any good? Also Do all manual boost controllers boost spike? If they don't witch ones don't boost spike? So what a good controller????

i have the boost controller from roadrace engineering here in socal. its like 50 bucks and works pretty good. my boost pressure goes from 1.1bar to .9 or 1bar when in high rpm..dont know if the mbc or the stock wastegate is to blame though. cant really complain though for 50 bucks.

Dawes Device
Had it on three cars in the past 3 years. Have replaced my friend perring ebc for this and using it to boost 1.7bar on a TME Turbo on his evo VIII after serious over boost issues. Very very well built and well worth the price. |
